Marketing Projects Coordinator (Term Position)

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Marketing Projects Coordinator is responsible for the marketing and business development initiatives of the department and coordinating a wide range of projects to advance the strategic goals of the CPHR Alberta. This is a term position to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities include:

  •  Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns that promote current company initiatives
  • Measure results of marketing campaigns in order to analyze and improve the effectiveness of client outreach
  • Manage and maintain CPHR Alberta Job Source and collaborate on promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate with partners to promote, manage and deliver CPHR Alberta Webinars to members
  • Create and manage CPHR Alberta's E-newsletters (Learn and Connect, Chapter Connect, HR -Essentials, Job Source, E-Blast)
  • Collect and coordinate advertising and editorial content for CPHR Alberta E-newsletters and online marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate advertising, partnership and sponsorship agreements
  • Collaborate with current and potential CPHR Alberta partners
  • Maintain records of previous and current projects
  • Provide support, as required, during annual CPHR Alberta conference with regards to advertiser, sponsor and partnership relationships

Education and Experience

  •  Diploma or degree in marketing, business or a related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a business development or marketing department
  • Working knowledge of Constant Contact, GoToWebinar, CRM
  • The role requires a person that is a self-starter, can work independently, with high energy, is enthusiastic and has a positive attitude who can adapt easily to change
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to use sound judgment when fielding questions and speaking about the organization with stakeholders
