Fund Development Director

Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta (Habitat) helps working families in our community build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership. The core of Habitat’s program is an affordable “no-down-payment and no-interest” mortgage model through which families purchase starter homes from Habitat. This is a transformational opportunity for the families and their children to build a strong foundation for better and healthier futures. Since 1990, Habitat has partnered with more than 300 families across Southern Alberta, impacting the lives of more than 800 children. Currently managing a portfolio of about 225 homes, and building about 20 new homes annually, in 2019 and beyond Habitat will continue to explore paths to increase the number of families it helps, as well as strengthening its voice in the public dialogue on affordable housing.
