Sales Consultant

Key responsibilities include:

  • Works with Marketing and Communications staff to generate advertising that promotes the unique value of Silvera properties to potential residents and their families.
  • Actively promotes Silvera through outreach, marketing, tours and the coordination of events that showcase and promote Silvera communities as a residence of choice and attract new clientele.
  • Makes appointments to have prospective residents and family/support systems view properties and suites. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, current and prospective residents, employees, and managers along with the Placement team to interview potential applicants and family members or support system to address concerns.
  • Coordinates the gathering of monthly statistics and prepare reports, records on rentals, prospects, and challenges to filling suites in order to actively manage this database and improve processing or resolve the issues and returning suites to available status.  
  • Brings forward process improvements and recommendations to the executive team.

Desired qualifications:

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing, retail or property management.
  • 3 years sales experience focused on seniors’ apartment rentals or property management and proven sales record.
  • Excellent communicator, self-starter and good negotiator who is able to inspire trust and confidence in clients and their families/support systems.
  • Experience working with older adults, their families and the integration of services
  • Solid understanding of older adult needs and challenges including community services and resources available to older adults in Calgary including Federal and Provincial pensions and benefits and how to coordinate these programs to ensure full occupancy and maximum rental revenues.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and use of own vehicle are required.
  • should be comfortable to operate out  and oversee suite rental for other Silvera communities
