The Position:

Title: Receptionist/ Administrative Support, One Year Maternity Leave Coverage

Job Type: full-time


The Catholic Family Service of Calgary is accepting applications for an experienced Receptionist/ Administrative Support person for a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for general office duties including but not limited to welcoming clients at reception, managing fees, answering enquiries over the phone, program document support, staff support, filing and data entry.

The candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness and desire to work with a multi-disciplinary team and be able to demonstrate adaptability within a changing environment. 

Qualifications Required:

  • exceptional customer service orientation;
  • business administration diploma or equivalent;
  • a minimum of 2 years administrative experience as a receptionist;
  • demonstrates excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills;
  • strong attention to details and accuracy;
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio;
  • flexibility to work according to the agency’s varied work hours;
  • proficiency with time management and multi-tasking;
  • capable of learning new computer applications.
