Full Time (3 year Term Position) McMan Calgary & Area

McMan is hiring a self-motivated and innovative Project Lead to help us expand and enhance organizational practice related to embedding a Natural Supports framework into key areas of the organization. The successful candidate will lead a significant change management project which will aim to impact organizational culture at multiple levels. The Project Lead will assess and explore core areas related to Communication, Service Delivery and Human Resources and develop and implement a plan that will shift practice and integrate key elements that support the framework.  This position will also ensure that key messages and a communication strategy are in place to highlight the impact and outcomes related to the integration of a natural supports approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct organizational assessment in relation to the implementation of a Natural Supports Framework
  • Research and identify strategies and guiding principles to effect change management process 
  • Develop and execute change management plan at Organizational level
  • Lead change management process and plan deliverables
  • Build organizational capacity and embed practice framework in 3 key areas: Communication, Service Delivery and Human Resources
  • Integrate and align Natural supports framework with current practice models and priorities
  • Collaborate and coordinate project with multiple departments and agency staff
  • Champion communication strategies and project initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a culture of shared learning, empowerment, accountability and continuous quality improvement
  • Provide regular updates to Project manager and Leadership team related to key deliverables and project outcomes
  • Responsible for delivery of funder mandate requirements and reporting expectations
  • Oversee annual evaluation, review and quality assurance practices for the project

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree /Diploma in the Human Services / Leadership /Project Management field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Knowledge and understanding related to non-profit culture and working with vulnerable populations
  • Strong understanding of working within and contributing to a Learning Organization
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and engagement skills
  • Demonstrated competencies in the areas of Project Management, Organizational Development, Change Management, Systems Thinking, Collaboration and Communication
  • Demonstrated project management skills (organization, task management, scheduling, implementation, assessment and evaluation)
  • Current (within 6 months) Police/Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention check

Salary Range:     $ 63,304 -$66,821
