Professional Standards Assistant

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to all membership and CPHR designation inquiries made via phone or email
  • Providing support for exam administration and assisting with organizing exam locations and room rentals, assigning proctors and approving deferral or cancellation requests
  • Processing all membership applications and all member category transfer requests
  • Sending out correspondence to members as requested by the Manager, Professional Standards
  • Reviewing and approving member name change requests
  • Assisting in data management of the member database
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Working collaboratively with Professional Standards team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  • Reviewing and processing all requests for Continuing Professional Development exemptions
  • Assisting with member events and information session presentations
  • Supporting and collaborating with other staff on new initiatives as they arise.

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in business, administration or a related field
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Outlook
    • Experience with providing customer service is an asset
