The foundation administers its own programs to provide financial assistance to children, youth and their families; allocates funding to Calgary-based charities working with vulnerable children and youth; and participates in community-wide collaborations intended to address the systemic issues that negatively impact low-income children, youth and their families.

In addition to the charitable foundation, BMF operates two non-profit trusts that provide post-secondary scholarships and other educational supports to the children of police officers and fire fighters. For more information on BMF, visit our website at www.burnsfund.com.
