Finance Team Lead

 McMan Calgary is a responsive and innovative partner for building community capacity by supporting over 2300 children, youth, adults and families in a single year. The successful candidate will play a vital role on the finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the key responsibilities of this position will be to manage the finance process on a day to day basis, prepare monthly program statements and funder working papers, perform variance analysis, complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with quarterly financial reporting. The role will require a high level of adaptability and the ability to multi task, and will lead a small finance team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hold or be working towards an accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
  • Hands on experience with full cycle accounting (A/P, A/R; Payroll, Cash Management)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite applications with a high level of skill in MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and decision making skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and be detail orientated
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills with a positive attitude
  • Be energetic and always looking for ways to improve current processes

Salary Range: $61,460 - $68,289
