With a continuum of programs that address prevention and intervention, individuals have been successfully empowered to fulfill their potential in the Calgary community.
The McMan Calgary Coached Visitation Program is looking for motivated and accountable individuals to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must enjoy working with families from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing difficulties and challenges. The Family Coach will be required to provide coaching, modelling and parenting strategies from a strength based approach in order to facilitate increased parental capacity. An understanding and knowledge of child development, parenting strategies and a variety of helping skills will be an asset to this position. This role requires a flexible shift pattern that will include some evening and weekend work; however shifts can be accommodated around individual availability.
Qualified applicants will hold a degree/diploma in Human Services, family support experience, and a have a good knowledge of community resources, agencies and the Family Enhancement Act. Strong interpersonal skills, counselling skills, program planning & administrative abilities are required. This role requires the use of your personal vehicle with a minimum of $2,000,000.00 personal third party liability insurance coverage and a Driver’s Abstract. A current Police Check and Child Intervention check are also required.
Hourly Wage: $25.00 per hour
