Executive Assistant and Human Resource Specialist

Job Summary

The Administration and Human Resources Specialist, under the direction of the management, will primarily be responsible to maintain internal documentation, complete staff on boarding and off boarding processes, maintain executive filing, and prepare correspondence as needed. This role will also act as a first point of contact for staff who have questions around benefits, training requirements, peacekeeping procedures, and a variety of other human resource inquires. The Administration and Human Resources Specialist must be able to adapt to new technology and have the ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Education, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources of Administration, or equivalanet experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience with administrative experience
  • Interest in learning about Indigenous Culture 
  • Strong computer software and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Problem solving, organizing, planning & analytical skills
  • Qualities and characteristics essential to working with people including empathy,  self-awareness, flexibility, good listening skills, self-care.
  • Clear security clearances
  • Valid driver's license and use of a reliable vehicle
