Engagement Coordinator

Who Are You?

Reporting to the Manager of Stakeholder Engagement, the Engagement Coordinator will execute strategy for cultivating and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships with donors, volunteers and funders. You will be part of the Engagement Team, which includes stakeholder relations, fund development, volunteer resources, internal and external communications, schools program, and the Donation Centre. Your contribution to a planned approach to stakeholder relations will further the realization of the vision, mission and strategic priorities of the organization, taking an integrated look into volunteer management, tour operations, meal sponsorship, public education, advocacy and other engagement opportunities. Volunteers and resource development are vital components to the overall success in the services the DI provides. Volunteers offer time, energy and skills of one’s own free will and expect nothing in return. By caring and contributing to change, volunteers decrease suffering and disparity, while they gain skills, self-esteem and often change in their own lives. As part of the Engagement Team, the engagement co-ordinator oversees programming, events and activities related to stakeholders including volunteers, donors, and tour groups. Ongoing evaluation for continuous improvement and demonstrated impact is a key to success.
