Director, Corporate Partnerships

DIRECTOR, CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS (Alberta, NWT & Nunavut)

Our team at the Heart and Stroke Foundation is growing and changing and we want you to be part of the team.

A valued member of the national Corporate Partnerships Team, working as a senior member of the Alberta provincial office, the Director, Corporate Partnerships (Alberta, NWT & Nunavut) is responsible for determining and developing the market strategy and capability for effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of HSF’s corporate relationships in Alberta, NWT and Nunavut.  Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (Alberta, NWT & Nunavut) and the National Vice President Corporate Partnerships, the Director, Corporate Partnerships will engage and collaborate with colleagues from across Canada to expand the corporate partnership program in an innovative and resourceful direction.  This is a pivotal role as the provincial lead for one of three pillars of Fund Development within the Foundation - Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Community Engagement. 

The successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven track record of successfully identifying, cultivating, soliciting and securing corporate support.   He/she will bring experience that extends to delivering highly successful revenue generating campaigns/programs with a demonstrated understanding of corporate partnerships.  He/she will have a minimum of eight years’ experience in fund development where they have built a solid network of contacts within the Calgary/Alberta corporate community, including corporate leaders.  The successful candidate will be profoundly articulate and able to adapt his/her communication style based on the audience. Highly creative and resourceful, he/she must be able to generate relevant ideas that are innovative and strategically sound.  Candidates should be prepared to present examples of previous sponsorship or partnership proposals as part of the interview process.
