The Position:

Title:  Coordinator, Families & Schools Together Program Job Type:   Full time

 

Catholic Family Service is seeking an innovative and self initiating individual to be responsible for the Coordination of its Families & Schools Together (F&ST) program. F&ST is an internationally recognized prevention program that empowers parents and strengthens the connections within families and between families and their school and community. The Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership to the F&ST team in recruiting and orienting volunteers and facilitating multiple F&ST programs in various elementary schools. Reporting to the Supervisor, F&ST and Volunteers Programs, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to the agency mission, vision and values.

 

 

Qualifications Required:

 

—  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development or related discipline

—  Eligible and in good standing with professional governing body, if applicable

—  Minimum of 2 years of experience with vulnerable populations in a social work or related position

—  Passion for working with families, schools and in community

—  Experience facilitating groups and coaching multidisciplinary teams

—  Experience with volunteer recruitment, training, engagement and evaluation

—  Excellent communication skills

—  Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
